So when this was recommended to
me I read the short story.
Turns out it is a game. So I had to look up a walkthrough to get this review to
happen.

That being said, from what I can
tell of the game it appears to be sheer perfection in its plot. It’s about how
humanity will eventually be only six people with horrible pasts that will be
endlessly tortured by an AI that became self-aware. Truly a wonderful modern…
I’ve been informed that this game
is actually at least 18 years old. Well there goes the rest of what I had
written about how more modern games should be kept to such a standard.

After all from what I saw the gameplay
was very well thought out. Like most adventure games it works in the vein of
keeping a massive inventory of objects to accomplish goals in the hopes that
the plot will advance. Along with that the background is rarely a good
indicator of where to perform things. And unlike most point and clicks I’ve
heard of from a friend who talked to a friend about such games, there isn’t
just one solution. The game has multiple ways to complete its stages, which do
change how many options you have for endings.
I mean, I’d expect it to be
modern. With how much one can do in it one would assume technology nowadays
would actually have increased the ability to create games with multiple
solutions to problems. After all I can think of many games that have stated that
and kept their promise like…
Uhhh…
I’ll think of something… I think…
You know let’s all just say I
said everyone of them and end it here.
I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream
gets a 1995 out of the 90s.
